A transmission with PPR signal:
The error frame in fax reception is identified using the post–message signal and PPR signal.
An example:
TxFrame RxFrame D A T A
PPS MPS BF 4F 00 00 0F
PPR BC F0 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
In PPS signal FIF, the pages, blocks and frames are displayed one value less than the real value. So in
the above case:
Pages: 00 means one page
Blocks: 00 means one block
Frames: 0F means 16 frames
In PPR signal FIF, the error frame will be displayed with "1". In the above case the fist frame is "F0" and it
means there was an error from frame 4 to 7.
