Document
Do customers use document conform to the
specification designed for use in the ma-
chine?
Instruct customers to scan document
ondocumentglasswhenthedocument
is not suitable for ADF. Using unsuit-
able document on ADF may cause
documentskew,separationproblemor
document jam easily.
Are foreign objects on scanning path?
Removetheobject.
Is the scanner dirty? Clean the scanner as dirty scanner
may cause image failure.
Are the separator roller and separator pad
wornout?
Replace the roller or the pad
Communication
Isthemachineconnectedtoalinejackwitha
line cable?
Reconnect it.
Arethereadvancedfaxfunctionssuchas
closed transmission or block junk fax set?
In some functions, free communication
is not possible.

temperature.
