Suspension and wheels
- 48 -
Adjustments contained in the table must be
carried out from initial reference positions.
These positions must be determined by
means of the following procedures:
- Rebound damping: Turn clockwise to end
stroke, then turn counterclockwise until
you hear the first click.
- Compression damping (High speed):
Turn counterclockwise to end stroke, then
turn clockwise until you hear the first click.
- Compression damping (low speed): Turn
clockwise to end stroke, then turn counter-
clockwise until you hear the first click.
The following operations can be also car-
ried out with the rear shock absorber
assembled to the motorcycle.
For further tests on the ball joints of rear
shock absorber attachments, it is neces-
sary to follow disassembly phases descri-
bed in this chapter.
