10.1.4 Battery disposal
The instruments contain one built-in lithium battery and five NiMH
rechargeable batteries or 5 alkaline batteries.
⇒ Dispose of the rechargeable batteries or alkaline batteries in accordance
with the regulations governing such waste in your locality.
⇒ Rechargeable batteries and alkaline batteries that were provided by the
manufacturer can be returned to the manufacturer for disposal.
10.2 Software update
The procedure described below is the same for the basic unit and for the
E-Field Unit. To update the software of the basic unit, connect the basic unit
to the PC. To update the software of the E-Field Unit, connect the E-Field
Unit to the PC.
