12.4.4 Recording of measured values
The following detection modes can be selected:
• ACT RMS: actual root mean square value
• AVG RMS: averaged root mean square value
• VECT PEAK: peak value, true phase for each spectral component
12.4.5 Averaging / measured value rate
Annex C: Fundamentals of FFT: see page C-1
Spectra are computed in an ongoing fashion every 250 ms and used for
subsequent internal processing. In AVG RMS detection mode, display of
the spectra to be averaged is selectable in steps of 4, 8, 16 and 32.
The averaging time for the frequency range 5 Hz to 2 kHz can be exactly
computed (averaging time: 1, 2, 4 or 8 s). In this frequency range, the
spectra are obtained through interruption-free, overlapping sampling.
Measurement uncertainty
The measurement uncertainties specified in the table below apply when the
marker is used to evaluate the results and under the following conditions:
• Signal shape: sine wave; detection: RMS; display mode: LIVE
• Drive level at least 10% of the set measurement range
