Background display level due to intrinsic noise and
interference

Dynamic range
The dynamic range within a given measurement range is calculated from
the difference between the dynamic range limits and the background display
level due to intrinsic noise in the relevant measurement range.
Physical constraints result in a higher background display level when the
built-in B-Field Probe and the external 3 cm diameter B-Field Probe are
used. This can mean that the sensitive measurement ranges can only be
used sensibly with the 100 cm

cross-sectional area probe.
