9.1 Using the PC software
The NBM-TS PC software is included with the NBM-550.
The PC software provides a large number of functions:
• Visualization of stored measurement results
• Off-line analysis of stored results
• Remote control of the NBM-550, including live signals on
the PC (not available for LF mode with the EHP-50)
• Straightforward export of measurement data to Microsoft
Excel
• Measurement data management in databases
• Direct printout of measurement results
• Screenshots of the displayed windows (copy and paste
function)
• Bitmap downloads of NBM-550 displays
The PC software is essential for performing a firmware
update and in order to activate subsequent options
Minimum system requirements
The following minimum system requirements must be met:
• Windows 2000 SP4 or Windows XP SP2
• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (installed automatically if
needed)
• USB driver (installed with the software)
