Scene Manager vs. Arranger’s Top Row
If all Scene operations can be done in the Scene Manager, most of them can also be done in
the top row of the Arranger:
The top row of the Arranger.
The only difference between the Scene Manager and the Arranger’s top row is that the Scene
Manager allows you to manage your Scene banks, which is impossible in the Arranger’s top
row. Apart from this, actions in the Arranger’s top row and in the Scene Manager are strictly
equivalent.
The Scene Mode and Scene Arrange Mode on the Controller
The Scene mode is where you select and manage your Scenes.
â–º
To enter Scene mode on your controller, press and hold SCENE (you can pin it by press-
ing Button 1 at the same time).
→
Your controller switches to Scene mode. This is indicated by the lit SCENE button.
The hardware displays in Scene mode.
In the right display you see all available Scene slots in the selected Scene bank represented as
a square of 4x4 cells:
â–ª The highlighted cell indicates the selected Scene slot.
â–ª Cells showing a name represent Scene slots containing a Scene.
â–ª Empty cells represent empty Scene slots.
This grid of cells corresponds to the pads on your controller:
â–ª The fully lit pad indicates the selected Scene slot.
