1. Right-click (or ([Ctrl]-click on OS X) the Scene you want to duplicate in the Timeline.
2. Click Duplicate.
→ The Scene will be duplicated according to the Duplicate setting in the Preferences. For
more information see ↑2.6.4, Preferences – Default Page.
13.2.10.2 Duplicating Scenes
By right-clicking on a Scene in the Timeline, a context menu appears which has a Duplicate
entry.
Duplicate entry.
Duplicate has two results depending on the Scene settings in the Preferences. See ↑2.6.4,
Preferences – Default Page for more information.
Duplicating Scenes Only
With Scene Only selected in the Preferences, Duplicate will create a new Scene just to the
right and it will still contain the old Patterns of the original Scene. Use this when you want to
have a new Scene which is like the first one, but only has different Patterns playing. You can
change the Patterns being played in the new Scene without affecting the original Scene (for
example, you could change the verse Drum Pattern to the chorus Drum Pattern in this Scene,
and the original Scene will still contain the verse Drum Pattern).
