Period
The operator can specify the transmit interval for the Y1731 PM PDUs. SLM and
DM will support period range from 1 secs to 10 secs (Default 1). LM will support
60 secs and 300 secs (default 60secs).
Priority
The operator can specify the priority (dot1p) for the outgoing Y1731 PM PDUs.
Priority range from 0 to 7 will be supported. Default is 7.
Measurement period
The operator can specify the measurement period for SLM sessions. At the
timeout of each measurement period loss will be calculated. Measurement period
of 60 secs or 300 secs will be supported. Default is 300 secs.
Data size
The operator can specify the data size for the SLM PDUs. Data size range from 0
to 1500 bytes. Default is 0 will make no extra data TLV added in the SLM PDUs.
Shutdown
The operator can enable/disable the Y1731 PM session. Before enabling the
session peer MAC and type should be specified. If either one of them is default
then session remains in disable mode.
8.9.2 Modify Y1731 proactive session
The operator can modify the Y1731 PM session parameters like period, type, priority,
peer mac, measurement period and data size. Operator has to shutdown the session
and then modify any of the parameters. Modification is not allowed if session is in
admin up state. Data size is exception to this condition, data size can be modified
even the session is admin up. If session is admin down all collected information will
be reset.
8.9.3 Delete Y1731 proactive session
The operator can delete the Y1731 PM session by providing the key.
(domain,association,mep and session id) The session admin state should be in
shutdown state for deleting the Y1731 PM session.
