Port Statistics
Packets Input/Output The number of packets, delivered by this sublayer to a higher
(sub) layer, which were not addressed to a multicast or
broadcast address at this sublayer. The total number of
packets that higher-level protocols requested be transmitted,
and which were not addressed to a multicast or broadcast
address at this sublayer, including those that were discarded
or not sent.
Discards Input/Output The number of inbound/outbound packets chosen to be
discarded to possibly free up buffer space
