Startup/Shutdown Procedures
A. Main Power Inlet /Circuit Breaker
1. The Main Power Inlet is located on the rear panel and connects to the facility
power source through the Main Power cord.
2. To turn the main power ON (l
ll
l) and OFF (0), use the Main Circuit Breaker
located on the Power Manager at the lower left rear panel of the dispensing
system (See Diagram Sheet 1-3-1).
3. Switching the Circuit Breaker to the OFF (0) position cuts power to the
entire system and can also be used for emergency shutdown when the
operator is unable to reach the EMO button.
B. ON/OFF Buttons
1. The ON and OFF buttons are push buttons located on the left side of the
operator’s console.
2. The ON button illuminates when pushed and continues to glow until the
black OFF button or the EMO button is pressed.
3. When the OFF button is pressed, the dispensing activity shuts down, but the
computer and monitor have their own power switches and are not affected.
C. Pneumatic Regulators and Gauges
1. The Axiom X-1000 Dispensing System has Pneumatic Regulators and Gauges
that control the air for the following systems:
Main Air
Fluid
Valve (Dispensing Valve)
Tooling (if applicable)
Impingement Heaters (if applicable)
2. The Main Air Pressure Regulator and Gauge set is located on the back panel
at the right rear of the dispensing system. The Fluid, Valve, and Tooling
Regulators and Gauges are located inside the lower front cabinet under the
keyboard tray. The Impingement Air Shutoff Valve and Flowmeters are also
in the lower front cabinet (See Lesson 2-4 on page 2-25).
