Dispense Head
A. Dispense Head Mechanics
1. The X-1000 implements a counter balanced, rack and pinion Dispensing
Head that is powered by a servo motor assembly.
2. The motor is located on the Dispense Head and has both Hall and Rotary
Encoders.
B. Z Servo Interface PWA
1. The PMAC’s motor signals for the Z-axis are amplified by the Z Servo
Interface PWA, which is inside the Dispensing Head.
2. The Z Servo Amplifier is built into the Z Servo Interface PWA located inside
the Dispense Head.
3. The Z Servo Amplifier is different from the X and Y Servo Amplifiers, which
are identical to each other.
