C. Material Safety Precautions
1. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for health, chemical, safety,
and disposal information for all fluids and materials before use.
2. All fluids and materials should be disposed of according to local regulations.
3. Wear gloves to prevent the contact of caustic chemicals with skin.
D. Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Precautions
1. Wear an ESD wrist strap and make sure is it plugged in.
2. Touch a grounded bare metal surface before touching electrical components.
3. Use a dissipative floor mat.
4. Store electronic boards and assemblies in static safe bags.
Use only ESD approved equipment.
Ground all tools and equipment wherever possible.
Keep your work area free of items that may contribute to ESD.
E. System Protection Precautions
1. Always wear a grounding strap when operating the dispensing system.
2. Be especially careful when dispensing with caustic or conductive fluids.
Take appropriate action to immediately clean up and contain any spills.
If fluid gets into internal portions of the system, call 1-800-ASYMTEK
(279-6835) immediately.
3. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
4. Follow all suggested system maintenance.
5. Immediately remove parts that have fallen into the dispensing system.
6. Immediately clean up any spilled fluids.
7. Do not put tools, screws, or parts into the machine while working on it.
