8.2.2 HORIZONTAL MAGNETIC DEVICE/MICR OPTION - ADJUSTING THE DOOR
MACHINE CONDITION:
The read/write carriage must be at its reset position (end of stroke at the motor side) and semi-tie rod
joining screw (1) loose.
OBJECTIVE ADJUSTMENT:
Planarity between the door and the frame front surface.
PROCEDURE:
Fit the door on the frame while keeping it in a vertical position so that the first tooth of the sector gear
(2) fits into the tooth-less area of the door gear (3).
Turn the door to a horizontal position and, while keeping it coplanar with the frame's front surface,
tighten the semi-tie rod joining screw (1).
