PARAMETERS
Only the Centronics interface is enabled.
The sampling edge of the Centronics interface data
can be changed. Choosing "Y" selects the rising
edge (the second) while choosing "N" selects the
falling edge (the first). With this parameter it is
possible to adapt the interface to the printer driver.
This parameter enables both the parallel and serial
interfaces. In this mode, the first interface that receives
the signal becomes active thus automatically blocking
the other.
Reception on the serial line activates the Olivetti PR
40+ emulation, while reception on the parallel line
activates the IBM PPII emulation.
When enabled (Y) prevents the printing of lines
longer than the sheet inserted. A paper bourage is
generated in the Olivetti environment (ESC r 1).
For electronic HW reasons, the width of the document
is automatically measured only during the insertion
phase. For this reason if the document inserted has
a variable width, the different size may not be
detected during printing.
When enabled (Y), every paper movement is
performed with the print head outside the size of the
inserted paper. In this way it is possible to use forms
with the minimum paper specifications, avoiding any
possible paper bourage.
Saves (Y) or not (N) the selected arrangement in this
set-up section.
