5-1 Internal Structure of CPU Unit
The following diagram shows the internal structure of the CPU Unit.
Note There are no I/O tables registered by the user for the CQM1H.
5-1-1 Memory Areas
All of the following areas are backed up using the battery. If the battery
expires the data for these areas will be lost.
The User Program The user program is made up of program instructions. These instructions read
and write to I/O memory and are executed in order starting at the top of the
program. After all instructions are executed, the I/O for all Units are refreshed,
and the cycle repeats again from the top of the program.
If pin 1 on the DIP switch on the front of the CPU Unit is set to ON, the user
program cannot be written from a Programming Device.
Reading, writing, and comparison can be performed on the user program
when a Memory Cassette is used.
