8-3-7 Wiring Examples
The following example shows a connection to an open-collector encoder.
Connecting to an
OMRON Absolute Encoder
When connecting to an Absolute Encoder manufactured by OMRON, connect
the cables as shown in the following diagram.
Note 1. A grease-proof PVC-insulated cable with external diameter of 6.12, seven
conductors with diameters of 0.18 and standard length of 5 m is used.
2. Connect to CQM1H-ABB21.
3. Use 12 to 24 V DC.
(Do not share the power supply with other I/O.)
