Convenient Functions
Starting and Stopping Logging
After logging is started (i.e., set to ON), the specified image data and measurement data will be saved in the
SD card or computer hard disk each time measurements are performed.
(Run Mode)
1 Press [Logging].

Press [Image logging] or [Data logging].

Press [ON] to start logging.
Press [OFF] to stop logging.

Press [Back].
Saved Log Data
Storage Locations and File Names for Logged File Data
*1: A five-digit number is assigned as a name to the image data storage folder in the order of folder creation as
shown below.
Up to 100 images are stored in each folder.

*2: Files are stored in the following folder when the PC Tool is used.
\My Documents\OMRON FQ\ SDCard
File format
Image logging: Image data is saved in a special format for OMRON Sensors. (The file name extension is IFZ.)
Data logging: Measurement data is saved in the following CSV format.
*1: The date is given in the following format: 2010/6/1 (for June 1, 2010). The time is given in the following format: 12:01:20 (for 12:01 and 20 sec-
onds pm).
Item Description
Image logging All: All images will be logged regardless of the measurement results.
Only NG: Only images for which the overall judgement was NG will be logged.
None: No images will be logged (default).
Data logging All: All measurement data (Measured values) will be logged regardless of the measurement results.
Only NG: Only measurement data (Measured values) for which the overall judgement was NG will
be logged.
None: No measurement data (Measured values) will be logged (default).
The logging parameter settings are the same for file logging and recent results logging.
