SERVICING LANDING GEAR
The landing gear consists of tires, brakes, oleo strut assemblies and on some models wheel fairings. These
are inspected for proper gear extension, scored piston tubes, hydraulic fluid leakage, security, condition of all
connection points, and fairings for cracks. Cheek brake linings for wear and frayed edges, and brake discs for
scoring. Replace as necessary. Minor servicing is described in this chapter. For detailed service and overhaul
instructions refer to chapter 32.
