System Summary
The Teal 2 system includes the Teal 2 air vehicle (AV) and TAC Ground Control
Station (GCS). The Teal 2 system is designed for single pilot operation.
This is a packable vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) air vehicle System (sUAS).
Teal 2 can be rapidly deployed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance
(ISR) missions.
Pilots can navigate, search for targets, recognize terrain, and record information
for analysis. Teal 2 provides force protection, convoy security, target acquisition,
and battle damage assessment.
System Highlights
• Blue listed with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU)
• Complies with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)
• Teal 2 and TAC range up to 5 km
• Teal 2 and TAC use the same Teal Performance Battery Pack design
• The Teal 2 system is designed to operate in ambient temperatures down to
-35°C (-32°F) and up to 43.3°C (110°F)
• System carrying case is hard, lightweight, waterproof, dust-tight, and high-
impact
