h. A downloaded message appears when the download is complete. The
flight logs are now saved on the GCS.
3. Plug in a USB drive into the USB port on the GCS.
4. Open the My Files application.
5. Tap Internal storage.
6. Tap TealQGC.
7. Tap Logs.
8. Select the files to download to the USB drive. Press and hold the file until it is
selected.
9. Tap Copy at the bottom of the screen.
10. Select the USB drive in the left side bar.
11. Tap Copy here at the bottom of the screen.
12. The logs are now on the USB drive. Remove the USB drive. Plugin the USB drive
into the computer to download the files onto the computer.
8.5 TRANSFER MEDIA: SD CARD TO USB-C DEVICE
If the SD card was inserted into the AV before flight, the photos and videos will be saved
to the SD card. The files can be transferred to a USB-C device.
1. Remove the SD card from the AV.
2. Insert the SD card into the SD card port or adapter.
3. Insert the SD adapter or SD card into the PC.
4. On the computer, open a file browser such as Explorer.
5. Find and follow the file path to the logs.
6. Video media has a .ts file extension.
7. Photo media has a .jpg file extension and will be labeled IMG.
8. Each photo and video file is labeled with either EO or IR.
9. Move or copy the log files from the directory above to the desired location on the
PC.
8.6 TRANSFER PHOTOS:GCS TO USB-C DEVICE
Enable the photo functions in General Settings to transfer photos from the GCS to a USB-
C removeable storage device.
Note: Videos currently can only be saved
and transferred via SD card.
3. Insert a USB-C removeable storage device into the port located at the top of the
GCS.
4. Access the vertical side-bar menu.
5. Touch the My Files icon. Follow the path to the logs: Internal Storage > Teal QGC >
Photo
6. Press and hold the files for transfer until a checkmark next to the files appears.
7. Select Move, Share, or Copy.
8. Select USB Storage. This may show the name of the storage device.
9. Select Move Here at the bottom right corner of the GCS screen.
