12 SYSTEM SOFTWARE DETAILS
12.1 ACCESSING THE APPS
The CS is built around a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro tablet running the Android
operating system.
The Teal QGroundControl (Teal QGC)
app is launched upon system bootup.
1. Tap anywhere along the top edge of the screen and swipe downward.
2. Four small dots appear the right edge of the screen.
3. Tap and slide these dots to the left. This opens a vertical sidebar menu.
4. Tap the 9-dot icon to expand the sidebar to show all the available apps.
5. Tap the right-pointing arrow at the lower-right-hand corner of the tray to collapse
the window back to the compact sidebar menu.
6. Tap the icon to launch the desired app.
12.2 TEAL QGC APP
Teal QGC is the ground control application software running in Android on the GCS. It is
the primary user application for flying the AV. Teal QGC launches by default when the GCS
is powered on.
Teal QGC is Teal’s customized version of Auterion’s open-source QGroundControl
(https://auterion.com/) with customizations and enhancements added to optimize
robustness and usability.

The general settings screen is used to view and manage a variety of TealQGC software
