1. These are the only legal values for setting the parameters. Setting any parameter to a value outside its
specified range will produce an unpredictable result.
2. The input buffers must be used when the DTE device tim
ing is in use, so this code sets both of these
conditions.
3. These codes are active only when internal timing is selected (P5 = 0).
4. When the loopback is on, all five receive channels are looped back into the transm
itter (used for far end
loopback during end to end testing).
