Reinstallation
Explain to the customer that the following information stored on the HDD is lost when the HDD is
replaced:
• Address book
The address book and document server documents (if needed) must be input again.
If you previously backed up the address book to an SD card with SP5846 051, you can use SP 5846
052 to copy the data from the SD card to the hard disk.
If the customer is using the following options, each option function must be set up again. For more, see
each reference guide.
• Data Overwrite Security Unit: See "Security Guide".
• HDD Encryption Unit: See "Security Guide".
Controller Board
1. Pull out the controller unit (page 229 "HDD (Option)")
2. Remove the HDD assembly if it is installed (page 229 "HDD (Option)").
