The reactor plug and the plug must be tightened with a special tightening tool. The
tightening tool consists of a torque wrench adjusted to 20 Nm, with a special plate.

To install a quartz tube, complete the following steps:
1. Make sure that the power supply has been disconnected and that there is no
water pressure in the system. Remove the bottom valve plate to quickly drain
excess water from the UV reactors.
2. Unscrew the strain relief cable gland from the reactor cap.
3. Unscrew and remove the socket screw from the reactor cap.
4. Unscrew the reactor plug using the tightening tool.
5. Put gloves on.
6. Take the quartz tube out of the box. Check whether the tube is the right size.
7. Gently slide the quartz tube into the UV reactor, leaving approximately 15 cm
sticking out.
8. When using 44-mm quartz tube: slide the adapter onto the quartz tube. Check
whether the O-ring is on the adapter.
9. Slide the O-ring onto the quartz tube, approximately 3 cm from the edge. Make
sure that the O-ring does not twist, roll or turn.
By pushing the washer against the O-ring the wrong way round, i.e. with the
flat side first, the O-ring will slide back more easily.
10. Slide the washer, with the tapered edge first, onto the quartz tube. Push the
washer, without forcing it, as far as possible over the O-ring.
