3 Loading the Ribbon and Media

5 From the ribbon supply spindle , pass
the ribbon below the print head  and to
the ribbon rewind spindle .
6 Wind the ribbon clockwise around the
empty ribbon core  on the ribbon
rewind spindle . Attach the free end of
the ribbon to the core with adhesive tape
.
7 Turn the ribbon rewind spindle 
clockwise for several rounds, to wind the
ribbon.
8 If the media is already loaded, turn the
head lock lever  counterclockwise to
lock the print head.
If the media is not loaded, continue with Section 3.5
Loading Media.
9 Close the top cover.
