210) Delay pre-infuse Delay time before the beverage is dispen-
sed:
The delay time set here gives the ground cof-
fee in the brewing chamber time to absorb
the pre-fusion water.
The "209 Pre-infuse" parameter must have a
value >0. >0 eingestellt haben.
0-9.9 sec Standard values are:
1 sec (ristretto)
1 sec (espresso)
0 sec (coffee)
1 sec (cappuccino)
1 sec (milk coffee)
1 sec (l.macchiato)
1 sec (chociatto)
1 sec (white americano)
1 sec (americano)
The set delay time lengt-
hens the dispensing time.
A resting time of more than
2 sec has only a minor in-
fluence on the coffee fla-
vour.
211) Chamber opening time To open the brewing chamber:
The lower piston moves downward. This gi-
ves the ground coffee more room, reducing
the water resistance in the chamber.
Low setting of 10-30 mmsec:
Depending on the type of coffee in use, this
can have a positive influence on the flavour
of the espresso.
High setting of 100-200 mmsec:
Used for large coffees to prevent overextrac-
tion.
0-200 mmsec The standard setting is 0
mmsec.
The flow-through time de-
creases, but fewer fla-
vours and aromas are
drawn out of the ground
coffee.
212) Wet pressing Flow-through control of the coffee water.
If set to "ON":
The "209 Pre-infuse" parameter must have a
value >0 and the "211 Open chamber“ para-

On/off The standard setting is
"OFF".
By combining a high initial
pressure with pre-infusion,
water flows through the
ground coffee more
slowly. This produces a
maximum of flavours and
aromas in the beverage.
