4.6 How to Change Exposure Condition
NOTE
When the DR system's Exposure Mode button is selected, and the
corresponding anatomical program is selected, the registered exposure
conditions are changed
4.6.1 How to Set Exposure Condition
The exposure conditions of this system are set with X-ray tube voltage and
current time product. The maximum X-ray tube current (mA) and the shortest
exposure time(s) are automatically derived within the ratings of the system and
X-ray tube assembly from the set value of radiographic mAs. The method of
changing the exposure conditions are described below:
The X-ray tube voltage (kV) and current time product (mAs) is limited as follows.
Setting of X-ray tube
voltage
Setting the mAs
40 kV - 90 kV 0.32 mAs - 320 mAs
91 kV - 100 kV 0.32 mAs - 280 mAs
101 kV - 110 kV 0.32 mAs - 250 mAs
111 kV - 120 kV 0.32 mAs - 220 mAs
121 kV - 125 kV 0.32 mAs - 200 mAs
4.6.2 Manual Setting Method
NOTE
The DR system exposure conditions cannot be changed manually.
When manually setting the exposure conditions refer to the procedure
described below:
When exposure conditions register with the anatomical program are changed by
the manual setting method, the switch of the filming region, the filming
orientations and the body thickness correction blink.
