4.7 Making an X-ray Exposure

4. After Ready up indicator lamp has been turned on, press the hand switch
button to the second position (X-ray exposure switch).
Then, the X-ray will be radiated. Operational state indicator lamp is Orange.
It is possible to have a loud buzzer sound during exposure. Refer to “4.8
User Setting”.

5. During the X-ray exposure, the X-ray exposure indicator lamp
lights
and the buzzer sound. Operational state indicator lamp is Orange.
After X-ray irradiation, kV and mAs displays will blink.
Operational state indicator lamp blinks until the state of a battery is
recovered.
NOTE
After X-ray exposure, until the battery is recharged another image can not be
taken. Wait until the Stand by display lights before performing any
operations. Depending on the exposure conditions, 1 minute or more may be
required.
NOTE
During an X-ray exposure the hand switch must continue to be fully
depressed until the exposure finishes. If the switch is released before
completion of the exposure, the exposure will be terminated prematurely. In
this case the film may not be clear due to insufficient X-ray exposure.
4.7.6 Acquiring an Image and filming with Insufficient Battery Charge
If the red lamp and the green lamp of the battery indicator are illuminating at
same time, battery charging is needed. At this time it will be possible to make
X-ray exposures although exposure time may take longer than normal.
NOTE
The longest X-ray exposure time of the FPD device radiography is
1000msec.
