4.1.4 Bus cable
The bus topology for PROFIBUS-DP is a linear structure comprising a screened, twisted
2Fcore cable with active bus termination at both ends. The possible bus lengths are 100 m
at 12 MBit/s up to 1,200 m at 94 KBit/s.
