Damage to the HMI device caused by unsuitable cleaning agents
The use of steam cleaners, high pressure cleaners, compressed air, solvents or abrasive
cleaners will damage the HMI device.
Use a cleaning cloth dampened with a cleaning agent to clean the equipment. Only use
water with a little liquid soap or a screen cleaning foam.
1. Follow the instructions in the section "Unplugging the connecting cable (Page 150)".
2. Spray cleaning agent onto a cleaning cloth.
Do not spray cleaning agent directly onto the HMI device.
3. Clean the HMI device.
When cleaning the display, wipe inwards from the edge of screen.
You need the following to replace the touch pen:
HMI device
A touch pen, article number 6AV6645-7AB14-0AS0
A T10 Torx screwdriver
Remove the screw of the pen holder and take it out.
Remove the screw that fastens the strap of the touch
pen.
Remove the strap and the touch pen.
Follow the steps in reverse order to install the new touch
pen.
h screws using a torque of 0.3 Nm.
