11.3 Data backup via MMC 102/103
To archive or read in data via the V.24 interface proceed in exactly the same
way as described in section 11.2:
S Series start-up: with an option to select the areas
– NCK (complete)
– PLC (complete)
– MMC (with option of saving only partial areas of the MMC data)
S Area-specific archiving: Backing up and restoring individual data areas
(softkey “Data In”, “Data Out” and “Data Selection”)
Note
In SW 4.3 and higher, the maximum baud rate is 115200 baud.
You can redirect backup data to archive files on the MMC101/102/103 hard
disk.
If a diskette drive is connected to the MMC, it is possible to save or reimport
data using diskettes.
You can also back up data on the NC card, see Operator’s Guide, Services op-
erating area.
Data are saved via the “Services” operating area.
