Resetting the supply usage counters
1 Fromthehomescreen,touchSettings→Device→Maintenance→ConfigMenu→SupplyUsageAnd
Counters.
2 Select the counter that you want to reset.

Supplies and parts without Return Program agreement terms may be reset and remanufactured.
However, the manufacturer’s warranty does not cover any damage caused by non‑genuine supplies or
parts. Resetting counters on the supply or part without proper remanufacturing can cause damage to
your printer. After resetting the supply or part counter, your printer may display an error indicating the
presence of the reset item.

To avoid the risk of electrical shock when cleaning the exterior of the printer, unplug the power cord
from the electrical outlet and disconnect all cables from the printer before proceeding.

1 Turn off the printer, and then unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
2 Removepaperfromthestandardbin.
3 Removeanydust,lint,andpiecesofpaperaroundtheprinterusingasoftbrushorvacuum.
4 Wipe the outside of the printer with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth.

5 Connect the power cord to the electrical outlet, and then turn on the printer.
