10.1 Setting the shock recovery position
WARNING

This special function can always be activated, even when normal bed adjustment func-
tions have been locked or the height adjustment has been electronically restricted.
For this purpose, the bed must be connected to the mains supply or a functional battery
must be fitted (optional equipment).
The shock position can also be activated even if the corresponding adjustment functions
are locked.
The bed moves to the shock position at maximum speed. The backrest and thigh rest move
simultaneously to the horizontal base position.
Risk of injury and material damage
Failure to heed this warning may result in patients and other people being exposed to dan-
ger and property being damaged.

The shock position function demands the user’s utmost attention since various adjust-
ments are activated simultaneously.

This function is only intended for special medical cases and not for everyday use!
