10.2 Setting CPR position
WARNING
This function can always be used, even when normal bed adjustment functions have
been locked or the height adjustment has been electronically restricted.
This function requires the bed to be connected to a functioning power socket or a func-
tional charged battery (optional equipment) in the bed.
1 Press the unlock button at the same time as the reverse-
Trendelenburg UP button.
The mattress base automatically moves to the horizontal po-
sition at mid-height.
The CPR position allows all parts of the mattress base to be lowered quickly. It is also suita-
ble for moving the bed to a specific low position for the patient to sleep at night (fall preven-
tion).
The adjustment position is preset in the factory:

Backrest and thigh rest horizontal, simultaneously
•
Mattress base horizontal and into the lowest position
Risk of injury and material damage
Failure to heed this warning may result in patients and other people being exposed to dan-
ger and property being damaged.

The CPR function demands the user’s utmost attention since various adjustments are ac-
tivated simultaneously.
