15.1 Faults and their rectification

Handset/LCD handset/drive
system not working
Mains cable not plugged in Plug mains cable in; mains

Check socket and fuse box
Plug not inserted properly Check plug connections
Drives are locked Unlock the functions

trol unit is defective
Inform your operator about any
necessary repairs

pedal not functioning, adjust-
ments are enabled
Handset faulty Replace handset
Foot pedal has not been sepa-
rately enabled

Battery-powered operation not
possible
Battery discharged Connect the bed to the mains
supply for approx. 10-12 hours
Battery not inserted properly Check the plug/cable routing
There is no rechargeable bat-

Retrofit a battery

when battery empty
Completely empty battery is
carefully prepared for a new
