Failure to follow this safety advice could result in considerable damage to the bed and the
electrical components and lead to subsequent malfunctions!
⁃
Ensure that all plugs for the drive system are connected as prescribed.
⁃
Lock the electric adjustment functions.
⁃
Hang or insert all handsets in the holders provided on the bed.
⁃
Unplug the mains plug from the electrical socket.
⁃
Store the mains plug so that it does not come into excessive contact with cleaning solu-
tions.
⁃
Ensure that none of the electrical components show any signs of external damage.
⁃
If these instructions are disregarded, water or cleaning agents may penetrate the sys-
tem resulting in malfunctions or damage.

Before operating the bed again, ensure that there is no residual moisture on the electri-
cal contacts by drying or blowing on the power plug.
•
If you suspect that water or cleaning solutions have penetrated into electrical compo-
nents:
•
Unplug the bed immediately from the power socket and do not insert the power
plug into the socket again,
•
Label the bed clearly as “OUT OF ORDER”,
•
Take it out of service immediately and report this to the operator without delay.
