17.1 Available accessories

A wide range of accessories is available for this bed, and we are continually extending this
range.
Risk of injury
Failure to heed this warning may result in injury.

Use only original Stiegelmeyer accessories that match the corresponding bed model.
•
This ensures safe and reliable operation and maximum patient safety.
Material damage
Failure to heed the following information when choosing and installing accessories can re-
sult in damage to property.
•
Remove accessories when they are not required.
•
Only use accessories at the intended positions.
•
Avoid, for example, chafing or the unprotected attachment of metal clamps to coated or
varnished surfaces
•
Please note when moving the bed that attached accessories may extend beyond the
height, width or length of the bed and so may collide more easily with door frames, cor-
ners of walls and other obstructions
•
In the case of very long accessories, avoid applying high lateral forces, such as by ma-
noeuvring the bed using the infusion pole. This will prevent any overloading of the fixing
points.
