Working with attachments

Releasing the pressure from the
auxiliary hydraulics
Attachments must only be fitted by competent
persons in accordance with the information
provided by the manufacturer and supplier
of the attachments. After each installation,
the attachment must be checked for correct
function prior to initial commissioning.
Prior to assembling attachments, the pressure
must be released from the plug connectors
(arrows).

– Fully lower the li
ft mast and fork carriage.
In doing so, wait u
ntil the lift mast, which is
braked by the mas
t slowdown at the end of
theloweringpro
cess, is fully lowered.
– Rest the fork tips fully on the ground by
tilting.
– Switch off the key switch.
– Wait for five seco
nds, then switch on the
key switch.
– Using your left hand, press and hold the
ESC button (2) immediately after switching
on the truck.
– If present, operate the foot switch.
After approx.
one second, all of the assistance

sh.
