WARNING
Risk of component damage!
A deformed or damaged battery male connector
can cause overheating and related consequential
damage.
– Check the battery male connector for damage.
– If necessary, have the battery male connector
replaced by the authorised service centre.

Filling the washer system (variant)
The washer reservoir is located behind the
driver’s seat in the weather protection cab.
The filling opening is accessible from above.
– Open the washer system filler cap (1).
– Fill the washer reservoir with washer
fluid and anti-freeze according to the
maintenance data table (see the chapter
entitled "Maintenance data table").
CAUTION
Components may become damaged due to the
effects of frost!
Water expands when it freezes. If there is no anti-
freeze in the washer system (variant), the system
may become damaged due to the accumulation of
ice in freezing conditions.
– Always use washer fluid containing anti-freeze.
– Observe the maximum fill level of the
reservoir (approx. 10 mm below the filler
neck).
– Close the filler cap.
– Operate the washer system until washer
fluid is discharged from the spray nozzles.
