5 Operation
Driving
– Push the push button (1) to apply the
parking brake.
The parking brake is applied immediately and
audibly, and brings the truck to a standstill.
The symbol (2) is shown in the display and
operating unit.

Cause Effect
If the truck is
switched off:
The parking brake is
applied immediately
and audibly. The
symbol (2) is shown
briefly on the display
and operating unit
until the control units
switch off.
If the emergency off
switch is actuated
or as a result of the
truck emergency off
function:
The parking brake is
applied immediately
and audibly, and the
symbol (2) is shown
on the display and
operating unit.
NOTE
If the driver’s seat i
s vacated or the foot switch
is released while the
truck is in motion, the
parking brake is not a
pplied. The truck is then
brought to a standsti
ll by regenerative braking.
Steering
NOTE
Please do not steer when the truck is at a
standstill, as this causes the drive wheel to
be put under extreme pressure and therefore
increases wear.
