Commissioning
Checking the reverse brake
– Accelerate the truck without a load in a clear
area; see "Driving" chapter.
– Change the drive direction in i
nching mode;
see the chapter entitled "Sele
cting the drive
direction".
The braking and subsequent acceleration
processes in the opposite direction must be
gentle and not subject to jerking movements.
Checking the electromagnetic parking
brake
DANGER
There is a risk of fatal injury from being run over if
the truck rolls away.
– The truck must not be parked on a slope.
– In emergencies, secure with wedges on the side
facing downhill.
– Only leave the truck once the parking brake has
been applied.
– Accelerate the truck to walking speed.
– Ensure that you have a secure grip on the
truck; hold onto the steering wheel with your
left hand.
– Apply the parking brake; see the chapter
entitled "Applying the electromagnetic
parking brake".
The parking brake is applied. The truck must
be braked to a standstill with a noticeable
delay.
