3.5 Instructions for cleaning
Clean the machine according to the cleaning and disinfection schedule to
prevent damage to the machine and to ensure that it is cleaned hygienically
(☞ „Cleaning and disinfection schedule“ on page 30).
Prerequisite for successful hygiene
Thorough cleaning is a prerequisite for successful disinfection. The clean-
ing may only be carried out by trained personnel.
Observe the steps described in the cleaning schedule, including:
- Pre-cleaning
- Cleaning
- Disinfection
Do not start the disinfection routine until after you have finished all the
required cleaning actions in the room.
Strictly pay attention to the precise dosage of the cleaning agent and
disinfectant. Use dispensers.
Comply with the maximum soaking time of the cleaning agent and dis-
infectant.
Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.
Avoid water puddles.
Safety instructions for cleaning
Note:
Only listed and approved cleaning agents and disinfectants may
be used in order to prevent damage to the machine.
Cleaning agents containing chlorine are not permitted.
Water temperature should not be more than 60 °C.
Risk of chemical burns from cleaning agents!
Cleaning agents can attack the skin and eyes.
Handle the cleaning agent carefully. Follow the manufacturer's
directions for use of the cleaning agent and protective equip-
ment.
