4.15 Adjustment of the grating disc
The following work steps must be performed to adjust the cutting gap be-
tween the grating disc and the matrix frame:
The inner setting; this is performed when a new grating disc is at-
tached.
The outer setting; this is performed for fine adjustment of new grating
discs or those that have already been in use for a long time.
4.15.1 Inner Setting
b Loosen and unscrew the cap nuts (1, 3 pieces).
b Loosen the lock nuts (2, 3 pieces) by a few turns.
b Loosen the central lock (3) of the grating disc.
Cutting hazard on the grating disc!
The cutting elements of the grating disc are very sharp; there is
an increased risk of injury during work on the grating disc.
Always wear the specified protective equipment when handling
grating discs.
