5.3 Start-up after EMERGENCY OFF
The start-up after EMERGENCY OFF is performed after any protective
function of the machine has triggered the emergency switch-off.
The cause of the emergency switch-off must have been eliminated. For ex-
ample, any open cover that triggered the emergency switch-off must have
been closed.
b Carry out the test run ( Test run“ on page 54).
The machine is operational.
5.4 Test run
b Check the grid and the cut-off knife to make sure they are firmly seated.
5.4.1 Checking that the cut-off knife runs freely
A grid is mounted.
b Disconnect the main power supply and secure it against unintended re-
connection.
b Open the knife box door ( „Opening/closing the knife box door“ on
page 35).
b Hold the cut-off knife by the handle and turn it anticlockwise over the
grid.
The knife must not scrape on the grid. If necessary, adjust the cutting
gap. ( „Setting the cutting gap“ on page 44).
b Close the knife box door.
b Restore the main power supply.
5.4.2 Checking rotation direction of the electric motor
b Put the machine into the cleaning position
( „Cleaning mode“ on page 19).
The discharge conveyor runs.
The discharge conveyor must rotate anticlockwise when viewed from
above. The cut product is conveyed out of the machine on the top side
of the conveyor.
If the discharge conveyor rotates in the opposite direction, two phases
in the plug connector must be swapped over.
b Start the machine. ( Cutting“ on page 17).
Note:
Swapping the phases is only permitted to be performed by a
qualified electrician.
