5.1 Initial start-up
Initial start-up is performed after the machine has been delivered.
The machine must have been completely installed. Details can be found in
chapter ☞ „Installation and connection“ on page 74 and below. The instal-
lation includes:
Unpacking the machine
Assembly of the components
Making the electrical connections
Filling with hydraulic oil
Cleaning the machine
b Carry out a visual inspection to check the installation.
The machine must have been set up. Details can be found in chapter
☞ „Set-up“ on page 33 and below. Setting up includes:
The grids and the cut-off knife are mounted and run freely.
The oil level meets the requirements.
b Carry out a visual inspection to check the setting up and cleanliness.
b Carry out the test run (☞ „Test run“ on page 54).
The machine is operational.
5.2 Restart
The machine is restarted after:
every switch-off/shutdown of the machine
all maintenance and repair work
any change in power supply (change of plug socket)
b Carry out a visual inspection for whether the machine has been
cleaned.
b Carry out the test run (☞ „Test run“ on page 54).
The machine is operational.
Note:
If the socket has been changed on the machine:
b Check the direction of rotation of the motor of the discharge
conveyor.
