4.15.2 Outer Setting
b Using the 6 outer lock nuts (A - F), the distance between the grating
disc and the matrix frame can be adjusted on the entire circumference
to a dimension of +0.1 to +0.4 mm.
b Carefully turn the grating disc by hand clockwise by one turn and mon-
itor the distance between the grating disc and the matrix frame.
There are two possibilities:
- The grating disc grinds on the matrix frame.
- The cutting gap is greater than 0.4 mm.
The grating disc grinds on the matrix frame:
b At this position of the grating disc, loosen the hexagon nut (1) clockwise
(a).
b Turn the hexagon nut (2) clockwise (b).
b Check the setting with a feeler gauge.
b If the dimension of the cutting gap is in the adjustment range, tighten
the hexagon nut (1) anticlockwise (c).
