5.6 Switch-off
5.6.1 Switch-off at the end of production
b Clean the machine (☞ „Cleaning / Disinfection“ on page 21).
b Switch off the main switch.
5.6.2 Switching off for maintenance and repair work
b Move the machine to the cleaning position.
b Switch off the main switch.
b Secure the main switch with a padlock.
b Unplug the mains plug from the power outlet.
b If you are working in the knife box, remove the cut-off knife and the cut-
ting unit.
5.6.3 Switch-off via EMERGENCY OFF
An emergency switch-off is triggered by the machine's protective devices.
Examples of this can be found in chapter ☞ „Function test of the safety
switches“ on page 55.
In the case of an EMERGENCY OFF the knife and piston stop immediately.
Note:
Leave the machine switched on for protection against conden-
sation water.
Risk of injury on the upright knife!
If you open the feed cover or the knife box during a running cut-
ting process, the machine will switch off and the knife will stop
immediately. The knife can come to a standstill in the chamber.
You can injure yourself on the upright knife.
