8.2.2 Adjustment of the machine feet
Adjust all machine feet individually to the required level:
b Loosen lock nut.
b Adjust the machine foot.
b Tighten lock nut.
8.2.3 Electrical connection
The following points must be observed for the electrical connection of the machine:
b Pay attention to the included electrical wiring diagram (☞ „Positioning
of the rating plate and electrical wiring diagram“ on page 84).
b
Refer to the rating plate (1) (
☞ „Positioning of the rating plate and electri-
cal wiring diagram“ on page 84
) for the rating of the line fuse on the custom-
er side.
b Check whether the operating voltage stated on the rating plate corre-
sponds to the voltage of your mains power supply (2).
The maximum permitted difference is +/- 5%.
b The machine must be connected using a plug connection or via a lock-
able main switch.
b The mains cable must be laid so that it cannot be destroyed mechani-
cally and does not cause any tripping hazards.
The direction of rotation of the discharge conveyor depends on the connec-
tion of the phases in the three-phase power outlet.
b Check the direction of rotation as described in ☞ „Test run“ on page
54 and proceed accordingly.
For connection to residual current device (RCD)
b If a residual current device (RCD) is intended by the customer, a resid-
ual current circuit breaker 30 mA Type B characteristic SK must be
used.
It is absolutely essential to install the machine level by adjusting
the machine feet using a spirit level so that the feed conveyor
and any subsequent accessories can work properly!
Note:
If the lock nuts are not tightened, the adjustment of the machine
feet changes in the course of time. The machine then becomes
unstable.
If the machine rocks, the quality of the cut is impaired.
Danger to life!
An incorrectly connected machine endangers personnel and
can cause damage to the machine.
The machine must be connected and fused in accordance with
the applicable regulations at the installation site by a qualified
electrician.
